Okay, now this might sound ridiculous to some people, but I have a sure fire way to save money when clothes shopping. If you are uncertain of something, or are simply trying to fend off buyer's remorse, simply try it on in the dressing room (obviously lol) and snap a picture of you wearing it.
This particular act works for me because once I have a picture of me in the pretty outfit, I feel less inclined to actually buy the outfit. Kind of a weird tip, but it might work for you, too!
Another tip is for you Kohl's shoppers! If you are a frequent Kohl's shopper, you are likely aware of their incredible return policy; no return date, can be returned whenever with tags attached, and sometimes you don't even need the receipt if you use a debit card to purchase clothing items. I know people who buy clothes there all the time and return them a few months later, with the tags still attached because the tags are generally attached to the inside of the clothes. So, new outfit, get your money back! Crazy!
