Someone Who Won't Be Frugal

How do I get someone to be frugal about buying clothing? Nothing works! I have went to thrift stores and come home with bags of name-brand clothing and they will not even touch it! They come home with bags of clothes and shoes that I could buy for them at a tenth of what they are paying for them! And how did they get so unfrugal when the whole family is frugal?
What am I to do!?
Just from Saturday!
